This BBC report presents the picture of the suicide rate among the teenage girls world wide. It has posed a huge risk as it counts for more death than the maternal death during pregnancy complications. The main reason for committing and trying to commit suicide is due to depression. The suicide rate is found very high in youths from marginalised community and low socio-economic background.
