PRIME is a program to generate world class researches on the implementation and scaling up of treatment programs for priority mental disorders in primary health care centers in the low income group countries.
This video shows the need to integrate mental health in the primary health care system i.e from health and sub health post in the country. The video tells the story of a recovered AUD (alcohol use disorder ) patient after using the treatment from local health post. It aslo shows the expert opinions on the existing health care system and need to reform it. This is indeed a great project because if it becomes functional we can check a great deal of mental problems from the local level. Do watch the video below:
